Can anyone recommend a vendor or source for this Fender Cover?

Rick,
These are the ones I use. I bought them at the Good Guys show a couple of years ago. They work great and stick to the fenders. Homepage

I bought the same set. Those fender covers are great. I also bought another set for my 70 Olds 442
Rick
Get the extra long version. You can always trim them to fit if necessary. You will not be disappointed.

Rick,
The photo you show has a soft rubber material that will not slip or slide off as many do. This material is sold in rolls about 15 to 24 inches wide by various lengths as Tool Box drawer liner. Our Sears store has it in the auto/tools section and at a reasonable price too. Cut you own out and as a kicker get the sticky backed Velcro tape , two sided tape for the male and female halves and place just inside the engine bay with 1/2 and on the fender cover so it never slips. Hope this helps Jeff C

I have a pair of these from Finish Line. Work well and attractive. Between the two ribs are for holding tools & parts. $28.00

Rick,
If you are still interested in gripper style fender covers. We sell them along with the complete front end cover. Check them out at our website store.
Note: a helpful hint for everyone that owns the gripper style fender covers. When you are not using them on your fenders, put them in your trunk. It will help keep things from sliding about back there!
Regards
Fred Littleton

Since I'm a cheap sob and I already had a couple of fender covers and they tended to slide off...my solution was to use the remnants of my wifes foam type cabinet liners.
I cut the grippy cabinet liner into squares then turned the the fender covers upside down. I then sprayed 3M 90 onto the fender covers and onto one side of the liner, let it tack up then resprayed, let it tack up then placed the liner squares onto the cover. Let it all dry up.
They do not slide off now and they don't mar the finish...
I could care less if my fender covers said Ford, Cobra, or whatever as it is one of mine says Craftsman and the other says NAPA(it was a freebie).

I just got a couple of big cloth fender covers from a friend who has a garage and they cover the whole fender and side all the way down. To avoid any slipping I put a couple of pieces of Velcro inside the car and on the covers. They work great, but aren't good if you drop tools. If I am going to be laying tools on them, I put a thick towel under them.
