Default Your choice in water pumps?

Looking to install an aluminum reverse rotation on my 347 stroker, any favorites and/or suggestions?

Holley, Edelbrock, Stewart, Weiand…

Thanks.

I've used Edelbrock a couple times....never had any problems and the castings are pretty good.

I doubt you'd have any trouble out of the rest of the brands you listed though.

Aside from electric water pumps, I installed an Edelbrock Victor water pump on my 418W. Very good flow and the internals are first rate.

I run the Edelbrock on my 331 and have an over-cooling problem so I know the water pump is working. I think they are a good piece. Stewart also makes a very good unit.

I use a FlowCooler..no problems although it does tend to over cool

I wound up with an Edelbrock. I like it cause it has threaded ports for the heater hose and bypass. Easy to plug. I had a Milodon that turned out to be the wrong one for my application. It was boxed wrong at Milodon. I put it out of its misery.......

Thanks everyone, sounds like Edelbrock is a good choice, I noticed the Stewart pumps can be double the amount, wow. Anyone else?

Roscoe, weren’t you concerned about ricochet?
