Question Lucas Wiper Park Switch

Anybody know where I can get the little park switch assembly that fits onto a Lucas wiper motor? I've got a switch that has gone from the friendly Lucas-flicker mode to the much less friendly Lucas-short-and-blow-fuse mode.

Really!? I knew that Enzo and Paula had the motor assembly but I didn't know that they had just the switch.

Thanks, I'll surf on over to Finish Line!

... I'm back. I didn't find the switch as a separate line item. I did, however find this picture of the switch installed on the wiper motor. It's the plastic switch "thingy":

Default Sources for British parts

Couple places I've found - look under the TR3 or MGB sections

That switch should be mated to the optional plug offered. If you do a search, I found a source for the wire ends that snap into that plug so it will be a simple plug in assembly. The Park switch almost requires the lucas dash switch to operate . I converted from the motor with no self parking switch in the motor . There is tons of info on this subject including wiring diagrams in the archives. I had lots of help from Club Members.

Thanks guys.

After some searching I found the part number for the park switch: 520160A

A little more searching lead me to Atlanta Imported. Their web site has the part for order.

thanks again

The wiper motor from Finishline doesn't come with a gear as I remember. Their seperate gear is special, it offers about 100° sweep, distance of the drive pin from center determins sweep. When I was doing my car they offered a electrical plug body to go on the wiring harness that fits into the park switch on the wiper motor. Problem was you are on your own to come up with wire ends that fit the wiper switches pins and snap into the plug body. I was able to buy just the park switch for my wiper motor at Brooklands. The wire ends were available from Waytek,Inc. box of 100 #31073 , they are .187" for 14-16 gauge wire. The ternimal ends are listed as intended for relay. They also have the correct crimping pliers . They have loom ,wire etc. The lucas dash switch make two speed and auto park. www.waytekwire.com Use my name ,pay cash and you can get almost anything.
