Angry New member needs help.

I am a brand new member and this is my first effort at 'Posting a Thread.'

I need your help.

In 1962 I was 18. That was when I saw a picture of my first Cobra and I fell madly in love with it. I have always wanted one. The closest I could get were pictures around my home and toy replica's on my bar.

I am now 63 and finally in a position to fulfil my dream. Today I ordered the body/chassis unit from R.M.C. in Western Australia and the engine/gearbox from Holden in Victoria. The motor will be a 307 kw LS2 Gen 4, 6 litre thumper connected to a 6 speed Triptronic Auto. The wheels will be 17 x 8 front and 17 x 11 rear, mounted on Vintage knock offs.

I have waited a 45 years for this time in my life and I'm like a kid in a lolly shop.

I have one problem. The selected body colour is a particular shade of red with gold stripes and I can't identify the clour/paint batch number etc..

I haven't quite mastered this site yet so I am inserting my email address. If any one out there thinks they can possibly help me, contact me on barryandmartha@iprimus.com.au and I will reply with a photo of an identical coloured Cobra which I want identified for colour.

I eagerly wait your replies.

Baz

First rule of posting: Help us by titling your thread as specifically as possible. i.e. "Which Gold and Red".

Matching colors is very difficult. Autocolor might be a good start but ultimately you'll have to look at real chips or see the colors on a car.

Baz,

Contact one of the moderators and ask them to move this thread to the All Cobra Talk Forum. You will have more people see it there. Also post some pictures of the Cobra that has the color that you want.

Ron

There are a good number of Aussie members that may be able to help further.

Give them a chance to read the thread.

Autocolour was a great help and I think I've found what I'm looking for,
thanks to you.

I really appreciate your help.
