Default A moment in time for Dick Smith

There is a small article in Sept 07 Hot rod mag about the send off to Dick Smith. I ran my car at 9:30 pm EST time for 15 seconds before the neighbor called and asked to stop. I said it was a sendoff to the best privateer cobra racer and his son. Neighbor said OK and it was over. I would like to hope that in the NEAR Furture that the Factory Five CEOS may have a little time to start writing the BOOK. Like to thank Chris Campbell for the write up in HR. Rick Lake

Thank's for the heads up. Dick and Heather Smith have hosted their Coastal Cruise for many years. They pre ran this years cruise in early March. After his funeral Heather sent letters to all the last years participants that the trip is still on. Be on the look out for a 15-20 originals, GT 350s, one Daytona coupe and kit Cobras the weekend of August 10.

Hint, (California Redwoods with the drive through Giant Sequoia). I'm sure Dick would be honored to have any other Cobra owners join the cruise from there.

Roger
