Default High quality pin drive lugs?

All my efforts of fastening them resulted in distorting the lugs:

I finally was able to install them with a filed down 1/2" allen wrench, however they could'nt be fastened to the specified 80ft lbs (they never came off anyways)

So where can I get 10 pin drive lug nuts for Ford wheel bolts that will fit the Vintage Wheels adapters, and are of such quality that removing & re-installing them will not destroy them? Or will I need to have them custom made?

Thanks,

Simon

This problem was thrashed about on this thread http://clubcobra.com/forums/showthread.php?t=93788 (note that there was some confusion between 6-pin answers and 5-pin answers). Perhaps the Kirkham bros. can fix you up with the proper pin drive lugs?

Kirkham has the fix; high quality pins:
- Hardened SS
- External tighten (no more internal 12 mm hex wrench)
- Taper to match your adapters

Of course I knew they're supposed to be 12mm, but the 12mm allen wrench is sitting so loose that the result will be what is shown in the picture. This is why I ground the 1/2" (=12.7mm) allen wrench smaller in size until it would just fit, this enabled me to torque the lugs without destroying them completely.

David I have the same problem with my brand new Vintage wheels. Wheels are great but the lugs are not and I have a 12 mm socket. I guess I will be calling you as well.
