Andrew, one of the GT40's belongs to Neal in Issaquah, not sure if he hangs out here much, but "Neal" is his forum name over at FFCobra.com.
His was a kit from New Zealand, I don't think they're in business any longer.
The other one is a Ford and belongs to one of my neighbors.

Andrew, you're welcome to stop by anytime. GT40NZ was bought up by someone in the mid-west and ran into the ground. Not sure how many cars they made. It's basically a KVA/GTD space frame knockoff. There are about 7 40's here on this side of the cascades. Always happy to talk cars.

Better yet, stop by Doug's next time out. He has some real forward thinking body work ideas including a pre-top coat greasing of brat juice to improve paint adhesion!

With the economy slow, my business is about at a standstill. If I can survive as a business only the Lord knows. Selling my car was not hard as I had to do something to help my business. I do regret and miss the comradery and good times I had with you all. That is the hard thing to swallow. I visit this site at times to see what is going on. Thank you all for the good times. It is the people we meet along life's path not their machines that make lasting impressions. If I can, I will ride again someday. If not, look for me in the crowd cheering you guys on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I will be selling much of my Cobra collection so if you are interested look on Club Cobra and e-bay. I will place on Club cobra the most rare of the items I have first. First to go will be my original 1963-64 Cobra Team Jacket. Listed in the Shelby America Original Archives 1962-1965 pg 45 " Probably the most famous and recognized racing team jackets of all time The 1963-64 Shelby American Cobra team jacket is one of the most sought after collector's items in the world"

I hope and pray things turn around for you Jim. For that matter, for everyone that is currently hurting in this damn economy.

Take care.
