Default What's your best parts source for SBF parts?

I'm building up a 351W based stroker from scratch and need just about every part imaginable. I'm doing shopping at Summit and Fortes since Summit seems quite a bit cheaper then Jegs. What other good parts sources are out there for SBF parts that you use?

Use a Google search for every major part by part number. You'll find that many parts are within a few dollars at every vendor, but once in a while you'll find something here or there that is worth separate order, shipping fees, etc. I just split an order between Summit and JEGS because the latter had two or three key parts in stock where Summit wanted three weeks for backorder. It was worth another $10 shipping charge to get the parts sooner.

The search by part number uncovers things - I often find smaller parts "hidden" on vendor sites using this method. Sometimes they're hidden bargains.

I've used ADPerformance.com for stroker rotating assembly and got great service and great prices. Really quick shipping and answered all my questions without a single hiccup.

Summit and Jegs have also been great resources for other parts , but if you check your local Schucks/Kragen auto parts store, they will usually match prices and have a lot of the same pieces in stock or can get them quicker than waiting on back orders.

When I was researching my build I picked up a PAW catalog. Perfomance Automotive Warehouse. The book is huge, or was... Are they still around? Hawaii Racing in Simi Valley, CA are a good source also. They usually also have a number of built short blocks on the floor of different configurations. Give em a call. Like a lot of auto parts houses that call themselves "Performance" they both have ahole knowitalls behind the counter, but a couple of good guys also. You may have to ask to talk to the ass so you can remember his name & ask for someone else.

Ah, yes. The ones who think anything but the parts they have on their current project car are garbahj. Never mind that they swore by AFR heads for years, they're running TF twisters now and all else is beer can scrap.

Try this guy, I've heard he knows a "little bit" about SBFs.......

http://www.keithcraft.com/index.htm

I've bought 2 stroker kits from him and his prices were very competitive with Summit/Jegs and others and the quality of his parts is second to none, plus great tech support..............

BB&T Racing in Southaven Mississippi... 601-280-7600 or 7601 - speak with Derek, and he'll hook you up.

Great prices and service!

I got most of my new 351w parts from him.

Define "best".

Cost? Integrity? Component Quality?

C'mon Mark.
We all know that those last two are not useful qualities in the marketplace today...
