Engine Internals

Does anyone know what internals were used in a 351w[approx. 450hp] built by South Side Performance from 2002/2003 time period. According to Bryan he built some engines for him a while back and has since gone out of business. The build sheet did not follow my car and I'm at a loss as what I have inside without tearing it down.

Kind of like asking; what cow your steak came from .

- I dont think a reliable answer is out there. -- who knows, they may have used different internals through the production period.

Dropping the oil-pan can get you lots of information. Rods, bolts, the underside of pistons, crank --

Might be worth an oil-pan gasket.

Agreed steve and I will do that eventually. I was hoping that I might be able to get information on the builder and give him a call or something. Maybe he did use certain cranks or rods, or maybe he kept good records. Its just a shot in the dark, I know.
