Default serpentine belt

Hi All, I have a 1995 5.0 Ho that I removed topend to install old carboration
still using serpentine system for the ccw water pump. Is it possible to
use regular v-belt system (which would make pump turn cw)?.
I know I would have to buy cw pump if they even sell one. Any
suggestion is greatly received.

The Ford motor has a weak nose, and with the serpintine belt you need way less tension than a conventional V belt. Also the way its routed the tension is spread around half of the diameter of the crank pulley.

OK understood, I would only be spinning the generator and water pump, do you think that this is a reasonable alternative?

I guess my question is, would the engine still have adequate cooling flow with a cw rotation?
