Default New engine is in...FINALLY!

Finally done-just took the car for a spin after two long months of staring into an empty hood. I've only zipped around a bit today after buttoning up some odds and ends this morning but the new motor is very nice. Way more friendly at lower RPM's as was expected, I do miss the sound of the solid rollers but it perks up when I lay into it a little. Note to self...adjust the floats before you go for the shake down run with no allen key to remove the air cleaner I figured since they dyno'd the engine with my carb it would have been set, I was wrong...flooded and stalled on the highway, luckily I was next to a garage that was open and the mechanic let me borrow his allen wrench-thx man!!!

Per my previous posts on the topic, now that the entire process is complete I am very happy with how I was treated by Ford Racing. Now lets see if their product holds up! I hope so...it felt so great to drive the car again, enjoy the weekend folks and drive if you can!

Glad to hear it Gary.

I just got mine back on the road after going through something similar with Ford Racing. It was a bit of a hassle, but they did make it right for me too.
