Default Wet sleeves question

All, I am working on an engine project that is slated to use wet sleeves. Of necessity I have to have cooling passages in the flange of the sleeve that allow coolant to flow from the jacket below to the coolant ports in stock heads above. There are a couple of companies out there like LA Sleeves, AEBS and Eagle Manufacturing that put holes in the flanges of their sleeves. I know Darton does too. Does anyone have images of such holes in sleeve flanges that pre-dates October of 2001? Preferably these would be pictures of sleeves from anyone except Darton. My design is simple and I'm just trying to make sure I steer away from some very specific designs that are protected.

Much obliged for the help on this.

I just have images of Darton...

Can't you just use an existing sleeve?

I could, but I believe I can make them for less than I can buy them.

Years ago(sometime in 70s) I used to go around to John Deere dealers to get old sleeves from there farm tractors---they were very high quality material and the thousands of heat/cool cycles they went thru made them very stabile cores to use for machining into my race projects back then (Donovan and Rodeck ) blocks---also used some smaller bore stuff for the stock block Indy cars mid 80s-------

Problem solved. It appears that early 60's Triumph TR2, TR3, and TR4 engines were wet sleeved with precisely the feature I was looking for - a wet sleeve with a passage in the flange to permit coolant to move from the water jacket directly into a port in the head.
