Default 3 Bolt Circle on Crank Pulley

Is the 3 bolt circle on the Crank pulley for Ford and Chevrolet ever so slightly different? Chevrolet being the smaller??? I went to trial fit a pulley on Ford Spec ATI damper and the holes do not line up .030-.050 different???

Thanks, why don't they just make them the correct dimension instead of "One size fits all"?

China? probably true, but this was still the case in the 80's, with aftermarket,
i look at it as laziness to engineer the part fully....kinda a modification from the GM part to just barely fit the Ford application,
look at MSD pro billet dist. its a GM modified, its too tall....for a rear mounted dizzy ok,...... but the front?
