Tried that too. Actually it was the Holley HP EFI. Ended up with the carb.
I had more trouble with the EFI system but despite over a year of programming, timing, replacing O2 sensors at $120 each, etc, I was still left on the side of the road more times than I care to count. The carb may run rich, lean, or rough, but it rarely fails outright once running.
Brent, I was trying to make sure the OP knew he could trust you. I stated that you would stand up and fix anything that might go wrong. You offered to take it back and fix it. I just took it as an opportunity to learn. My warning to the OP is just to know that nothing is just bolt on with these cars.
To all reading this: Just to be clear: I still recommend Brent. He will stand behind everything he does.
