Default Oil Drainage from Heads

Should the oil be pooling toward the rear (one end or the other) as it is in the photo? Should I level the engine more tail up? I don't think the oil shut down is reaching #8 valve guide but it's close, with the engine running I imagine there is more oil so it would be up to the guide?

Thanks

That's normal, don't worry about it.

The valve guides get their oil as it's splashed down from the push rods.

What Bob said. That is the way my heads looked when I removed the valve covers.

Thanks a lot guys! Kinda figured...went out last night and jacked the whole car up in the back, to see what effect leveling the motor would have; had to get the rear a Foot in the air before I saw effect...
