Cobra Make, Engine: 396 long block, PROBE Forged Dished pistons 8.75 to 1 and Vic Jr. heads from Engine Factory. Tremec TKO. BDR#244 Sterling Gray/Silver stripes. 17in polished wheels, glove box and tonneau cover.

Default 393 parts advice please

Need some recommendation/opinions for 393:

Starter FMS-M11000b50 (summit) or FMS-M11000a50
Mechanical Fuel Pump: ?
carb: edelbrock 750 EDL-1411 (summit)

Engine will probably deliver 450hp and torque street driven.
Any advice will be helpful.

Assuming you're using 157 tooth flywheel.

Starter. I've gotten great service so far from Powermaster starter. Summit. $159 or 169. It's in the catalog.

Fuel pump. Used Holley street fuel pump with Edelbrock bottom inlet conversion kit. Fuel in, comes in under the pump. Fuel out to carb is normal, except on the wrong side of the engine.

Carb. If I had it to do over, and didn't use EFI, would go with Demon 650 (driving mostly under 3000 RPM), or Demon 750 (a lot of driving over 3000 RPM).

Thanks for the input! Do you have pics of that fuel pump setup? I'm not too sure what you mean by being on the wrong side? Maybe I shouldn't my motor!
