Mazda has their tag line...Zoom Zoom. I came up with ZUM THIS since my wife's car is a 1995 Miata and were both parked side by side.

To me, being around Cobras is almost intoxicating.
Very similar to the way cats react to cat nip.......hence.....Cobranip.

Being named Rod, and buzzing around briskly in the occasional ragtop when a teen , you would think I'd pick up the nickname way back when. Nope. A fellow car guy invented it with a "hey, Rodster!" within recent memory. It's a nice gift from a good friend.

It's actually my name. Short for Buzzy, it's not actually on my birth certificate but my father nicknamed me that after a close army buddy when I was about 2 years old and I've answered to it ever since.

Many years ago when I ran dirt track with several other guys , sometimes the "protests" became very animated ..... and if it wasn`t settled on the track , it continued in the pits . Someone said that I was backed into a corner , it was like a bobcat .... everything was used from tire irons to fingers/claws . Really glad things have calmed down over the years .

Capri beacuse I love Capris and Maniac explains itself, or what?
Or maybe I'm just mad (a maniac) about Capris?
(Actually it was my 1. username on newly formed Norwegian Capri Club forum back in the 90's. I sat down in front of the 'puter after a couple or so beers and wrote some rather nasty posts, doing what I could to get the Capri- community over here upset. Fortunately the forum was closed and I've - almost-stopped flaming!)

Toro
First it's cool to see this post has been active since 2003.
Toro: a nick name given to me by a good friend who convinced me into tracking my freshly built and painted Factory Five a week after completition.
We went to the test and tune track in Gainesville Fl me with my nice shiney new car and shiney street tires.
Needless to say I spent quite a bit of time doing off track spins in the grass
like a TORO mower.
2005 Factory Five 302/315RWHP
2009 Backdraft Track Day Car 302/307RWHP
Lifes short live like you mean it and get to work
on that Bucket List!!!
