Engine Factory
Just getting started on my project and was wondering if anyone has had any dealings with the Engine Factory and their turn-key engines designed for cobra kits. I'm looking for a power plant for an ERA kit.
Thanks in advance for the information.

Engine Factory has proven themselves to be very reliable. I know several people who have had both short blocks and turnkeys (myself included) and are very pleased with the results.

I'm trying to make the point that how you represent yourself can have a big impact on your business. They may build great engines for all I know!
We have all driven past a restaurant that looked shady & thought to ourself, "I would never go into that place". Then a couple months later someone tells you they make the best damn food around. Pretty soon you won't go anywhere else for your Italian, Mexican or whatever kind of food it may be. If it weren't for that chance refernce you would have never given them your business!

Tongue,
He doesn't have a site...that's my point. Many would say "why go to him...he doesn't even have a web site!" I do get your point and a good web site is important to present your image.
Engine Factory has been growing steadily and recently moved to new facilities. Maybe some day they will get around to updating their site.

I got my engine there and these guys are really good. If you visit their shop you will see a sparkleing clean assembly area and they
really seem to know their stuff. All I know is I put the engine in the frame, wired it up and it fired on the first crank. It sounds good too. Oil pressure stayed above 60 even when warm and here were no leaks. They even send you the the tabs off of the boxes that all of the parts came in so you know what you'll need
for repairs in the future. The engine comes with a installation
video and a video of your engine on the test stand. All engines are have the cams run in and the carbs and timing set. What more could you ask for??? Oh yeah and they are warrantied!

Stupid me I started searching to see if I could find it!!!!
I would still say that no site is better than a bad on if you have a strong reputation & decent sized client base. It is frustrating that P.S. Doesn't have a site & Phil seems the type to not want the extra hassle. Realistically if that is the way he wants to operate his business it really wouldn't hurt him. he definately has carved out a niche in the industry for himself. P.S. Engineering has a little shop. When the doors are closed you wouldn't know it was there & When inside you definately know where you are! More wheels than walking room! Everything is packed in there tightly. Phil is a very nice guy who builds a very nice wheel! I was undecided on wheels until I visited his shop.

Wow.....20 minutes from here! Thank you....I'll check into it.
351 stroker....good choice...lots of torque, doesn't weigh too much, easy to find parts...still revs great..
