Question Shell Valley or B&B or TCR

Hello all, Newbe here.
I have been looking to purchase a kit and my two final choices have come down to Shell Valley and B&B. I noticed that TCR sells a nice Shell Valley Kit also. Anyone have some good pictures of the build process from these manufactures? Opinions are also appreciated.

Welcome, senyor snake. I don't have photos or personal experience with these kits, but I have compared them. Considering that you are located in Texas, I would think going straight to Shell Valley would be better than getting a TCR (they're in Connecticut). Saves on shipping costs.

My personal opinion on B&B versus Shell Valley is the B&B can be built cheaper, but with the same components they're about the same price. They both look like they're well built and well detailed, but I personally like the shape of the Shell Valley body better. If I were looking to save as much money as possible, I would go with B&B. If cost is not an issue, I would go with Shell Valley.

You don't like Lone Star or FFR?

I Did not choose FFR because I don't want to go the donor car route. And Lone Star seems to nickel and dime you on all the necessary parts to complete the kit and sales tax and shipping would be similar in price. my$.02

Thanks for the advice

Hey, glad to have you aboard.

I just went with a TCR kit and received it last week. I ordered the basic kit and I'm very pleased.

The Shell Valley kit and the TCR kit will both ship from the same place, so one shipping cost being higher than the other will not be the issue.

Both parties (TCR and Shell Valley) are very professional and easy to work with...I worked with Michael and John at Team C. Very nice guys...You should give them a call. They bent over backwards for me.
