Thanks for the help guys. I'm looking for good mid-range power. I don't plan on revving the engine past 6k. I think I'm going to stick with the Edelbrocks since I can get a garage discount. I also think I'm going to use the 1.90 valves as heard bad thinks with the 2.02 valves and stock 302 blocks (too close to the cylinder wall causing worse flow numbers).

I thought that 218/226 duration numbers were actually pretty low? I was expecting for a high RPM power band to be around 238/244 for a 302.

If I only get 320 flywheel HP for the setup because I don't want to rev past 6k (overheats past 5600 for any amount of time....still have to figure out why) thats fine by me.

Lastly, NeedAntiVenom, where in Northeast Pa are you? We live just west of Allentown. It'd be nice to hook up for a ride with someone close around here.
