Where to place Oxygen Sensor

Question:
I am putting in an EFI 5.0 into my Cobra. I don't necessarily want to run the oxygen sensors outside the car to where the headers collect. Any opinions/ experiences with where to mount the O2 sensors?

Go on thr Factory Five Racing forum and ask there. What these guys don't know about Mustang engines in Cobras is probably not worth knowing. I would suggest, however that wherever you put the sensors that you insulate the he!! out of the wires or you will get false readings from the heat under the hood.

Any suggestions of what to isulate the wire with in addition to the regular wire wrap? Would you use some of the reflective tape that the use to insulate heating & cooling systems?
