Default Cam for 427 SB Stroker

Hi
What would be an ideal cam for a 427 sb stroker 4.125x4.00 with 10.25comp 61cc 205, 2.08/1.6 alloy heads,dual plane+750cfm. cira 450hp?
How would this engine run with a stock 351 cam for instance, what kind characteristics would it have?
thanks
Adrian

My 427 Windsor came with a solid flat tappet cam, 108 degree lobe centers, .540 lift, 294 duration. It's a real screamer.

Hey Cobra_Dude:

I would call Comp Cams....1-800-999-0853 Tell them the specs on the motor, what you are looking for, and what you should run....best, easiest way, and its free......Hope this helps....

Just a question, but why go with the nice 4.125" bore and larger port heads if you're only trying to make 450hp?

I built a 408 with AFR 205heads and 4.030" bore that made 570hp@6300 with a 242/250 .576/.577 hydraulic roller.

If you're only shooting for 450hp, you'd want something around 220* duration cam with .550" lift...but the small cam would run out of breath (figure hp peak around 5300rpm) right around those nice heads really start to work.
