Front Sump ??
What is the preferred sump location for a 351W, front or rear? I'm inclined toward rear unless there is some good reason not to.

Depends on what you're doing with it. Road racing or drag racing? If you're dragging, you want it in the rear. For a road race situation, you want a good t-sump....so you can get good pickup while cornering.
