Think you'd be ahead using more standard methods of beefing up bottom end. ARP studs, Milodon 4 bolt replacement caps, stud girdle, forged crank, pistons, aftermarket rods.
But for a Cobra, you hit diminishing returns early on with added HP because the car is so light. All you're getting is more wheelspin and expensive smoke, not a faster car.
Guys around here are running 10's with mildly modified late model 302's and Vortech superchargers.
I think with an on/off NoS shot, you'd break traction and the car would flip ends on you. You'd want to come up with a system to engage NoS in several stages tho keep it just under wheelspin.
