Default 351 stroker kit

I purchased a 351 crate motor from Ford Racing, with 360 hp. It is a great motor, but of course now I want more power. I am thinking of a stroker kit from Keithcraft or others, but need to know if my block will need clearance relief from the longer stroke crank. My other option is to sell the 360 hp motor and just buy a 392 from Ford or a custom engine builder. The engine has 4000 miles.

If your block will need clearancing depends on how much you stroke it. Clearancing the block is really not a big deal. Install the rotating assembly and oil pump (I have to clearance the oil pump a little also) and rotate slowly so you can see where you need to clearance, then go at it with a die grinder.

I replaced my stock stroke Windsor at 8,800 miles with a beefier one. Like you, I felt ready for prime time. I must say, it's like receiving a double shot of Testosterone. It's amazing what another 100 HP will do for a middle aged guy.
