Oh...well I guess you will need the higher gear ratio then. :-)
I'm really not too sure if a stock block would hold up to this though....actually I'm pretty sure something would give...hehhehe...I think you need an aftermarket block.....or one of Ford Racing's SVO blocks.

Try....
www.fordracing.com
Go to performance parts once you're in there.
Other than that, I don't know any off the top of my head.
There's some Winston Cup blocks on there....of course they're capable of handling 850hp +....but you have to pay for them.....probably around $1500-$3000 depending on what combo you want....aluminum or cast iron....dry or wet sump....9.200" deck height or 9.500"....Windsor main bore or Cleveland...etc...
So you're planning on having all this done by spring?

Yes guy.If i buy a block i can't do other projects.I only give 1000$ for an aftermarket block. But first i must discuss all these suggestion with my mechanic.

Can I ask a question? If you're going for top speed, why are you using an automatic tranny?

That spacer kit they listed here M-6339 doesnt change the block to a Cleveland 2.75" it is for changing a 351W to a 302 main 2.24", and is not good for over 3.75" stroke, I would guess because 2.24" cant handle that much load.

Hey V-8, we can bench race this stuff till we're blue in the face, but can't give recommendations that make sense until you tell us what you want to do with the car after it's built. Seriously.
What we have on the board now will get you out of the Earths' gravitation and into Lunar orbit in about 4 days, Mars orbit in about 6 months. Give or take. Life support systems, food, waste disposal, getting you back (If you want to come back. You might like it there and want to stay, raise a family.) I'm being somewhat facetious, and somewhat not.
A typical Cobra with fairly conservative underpinnings is already part rocket sled, and part roller coaster. For a street Cobra there isn't much left to the edge of the envelope. In the lower gears, traction is the biggest problem. What good is a 600 HP engine, if the wheels spin at 350? In the higher gears, what good is a 600 HP engine, if the tires spin and the rear comes around on you at 350? In the 120 - 130 MPH zone, you need to be spending your money on suspension and brakes. Above 130 MPH, the Cobra has the aerodynamics of a brick. And there are only 4 ea. 10-32 screws per side, on a brass frame keeping the windshield out of your face. There are limits to the envelope with a Cobra.
What do you want to do with your car?
For a race Cobra, the edge of the envelope is pushed by driver skill, not engine HP.

I think he's putting this engine in an old Mustang...but not for sure. Either way, the amount of realism is slowly dwindling. He noted in an above post that he's wanting to top-end race with it....I wouldn't wanna run all-out in an old Mustang....

Ah hah! So, don't drive it like you stole it, drive it like you built it yourself. Makes a difference, eh!?

Well most performance automatic trannies are either 2 or 3 speeds....you're not gonna get that much top end with 3 gears...And you're gonna need a hoss-cat tranny to back 500-600 hp..

Yes.First 289 and 4 speed i throw them and put 351w & c-4 i broke c-4 3 times in 2 mouths.then i put c-6 it was fine but when i shot 200hp nos cheater it burned.I rebuilt it again and it had broken again with a 200hp shot nos.
then i saw some guys made this swap. I bought tci adaptor kit and a th- 350,i have no problems and no headaches with trans now.
