Electric Water Pumps (EWP)

HI,

Has anyone used or heard good/bad things about using a Davies Craig EWP on their small block Ford (302).

Im looking to replace the mechanical pump with the electric pump and controller.

Any opinions greatly appreciated.

Andy,

IMHO, for the sake of reliability, stay with the normal belt driven one. I've heard that these pumps were designed for race applications and would have a limited life expectancy in a normally street driven application. But if you just looking to squeeze out all available horsepower and move it to the rear end, then go for it!
