Canton oil plug diameter
I want to install a rubber O-ring on my 71/2 qt Canton oil pan on my Windsor. Anyone know the diameter of the drain plug bolt? Since I've got to pull it, install the o ring and reinstall the plug while losing the least amount of oil, I don't have much time for experimentation. It seems like something in the area of 1/2". Anybody?

You might try Canton's web site. I've been there and they have spec.'s and pictures for everything they make.

1/2 inch it is...I just checked mine, fresh out of the box. Good luck staying clean.
