help!! Engine ident.

I will be licensing my Cobra this month and I need to find out what year my 351W is. I have looked all over the block and cannot find any ID numbers. Can anybody help me? Where do I look, and after I find them, where can I get the info to tell me the year of manufacture? The company that built the engine(SpeedOMotive) doesn't keep this information.

Look under the starter on the block. A casting number is on the block that will give you the block cast date.
