Default Armando oil pans ??

I was looking to get a oil pan made by Armando but he does not provide any sort of a dip stick. IS there anyone that has made any provisions for this and if so how did you do it. I was looking at his pan that is 20" x 6 1/2" x 11 1/2" thanks Chris

Armondo welded pans for Aviad for 15 years hence they are nearly identical. My dipstick is in the block. All I did is mark the old one to the desired level that was that. I didn't have to pull the starter to put on his pan. So easy, so nice!

If you really want to have a dip stick lokar makes their tube out of AN 3 stainless steel flex line hose. Have Armando weld you a 3/8" bung at a location of your choice (maybe pass side half way back on the top of your oil pan). Then go to your local speed shop and pick up a universal Lokar dip stick kit (It could even be for a CHEBY). Or go to thier web site at:

http://www.lokar.com

or you can call them and they will make you one for your engine.

I personally don't use a dip stick (they blow out when your on a track) and I change my oil after each race.
