Well, money is cirtanly an object, I don't want to cut any corners but I would like to stay under 4 grand if possable, and that was a reality untill I start hearing from the machinist that flywheel failure is a real danger with the stock iron flywheel, I've never payed much attention to this area before and I cant seem to find anything regaurding the limitations of the stock flywheel. I already have a tired old 351 in my car with a allmost new clutch and a perfactly good iron flywheel. The plain was to simply swap the engines rather than parking the car for a month. I guess the car will be wound up pritty high quite oftin, so my main question is can the stock flywheel handle 450-500hp?
