Thanks & pics
Hey Guys,
Just wanted to say thanks for all the help I got here over the last couple weeks. You all seem quite knowledgeable and have been totally helpful. As a result, I've just purchased a 351W block for my project. Here's a couple pics.
I have the whole shortblock, and I disassembled it. It actually looks pretty good. Cylinder walls look okay, 0.030 over should do it. Rods all seem fine. Crank seems good too, except for this small bit of pitting. I realize the pics are ****ty (sorry, my camera wouldn't "lock on" to the shiny surface), but do those seem bad to you guys? I'm not an expert on this stuff, but it looked not too awful to me...
Anyway, thanks again for all the help. Lord knows I'm gonna need a whole lot more soon.
