Unhappy 347 cam

having 347 stroker built; need cam help.
hbeam rods, forged pistons, 1:6 rollver rockers,AFR185 heads, RPM air gap,T5Z trans, 3.73 rear. Will be a street engine but dont want to wimp out (or over do it)on cam choice. want torque, but dont want HP to peak too soon either.

builder is recommending a howards cam (small Wisconsin shop)
214*/224* duration at .50, .474/.498 lift 112*lobe centers

I saw that comp cams has a 218/224 @.50 493/.500 lift 110* lobe centers.

operationally, what would be the difference in these cams?
Given that AFR's flow so well on the exhaust, are my intake fiqures (duration and lift) more important than the exhaust?

brands aside, does one sound like a better choice than the other? or neither? Or is this splitting hairs?

thanks.........
