Default Coolant Leak

I have a small coolant leak that shows up after the motor cools. Usually a small amount shows up on the floor the next day. I can not find a leak anywhere around the heads or intake. Since it's on the outside of the flywheel cover, I suspect the back of the block?

Here's a pic:

CSCHWER,

I had almost exactly the same thing except mine was on the right hand side in front and never did leak enough to drip on the floor. But when I got under the car I would always find a drop hanging on a spot on the block. After doing everything I could think of and still not finding or stopping it, I got my torque wrench and torqued the intake bolts again. Some had worked loose by a pound or so. That stopped my drip and I have never had another. I also still don't know exactly where it was coming from as there was no water trail down to where the drop would hang. But if you have an aluminum intake and aluminum heads, you might try that just for a shot in the dark.

Ron

Ron,
Thanks for the reply. I'll check the torque on the heads also.

Chet
