Question 331 vs. 347

i am a college student right now with big plans. i plan on spending all my money we i get out of college on a kit car. i have a 302 roller block. that is the block that i am plaining on using. i am plaining on stroking it sence i have to take a engine machining class. i'm not going to be driving it on the track it would be more a daily driver. i was wondering witch would give me more bang for my buck.
thanks

A 331 and a 347 are each capable of doing about the same thing. But each can be built mild to wild. Along with an english spelling book, get the How To Build BIG-INCH-FORD small blocks by George Reid. I got mine at Barnes and Noble. Also talk to some of the engine builders on this forum.

If I went the 302 route I would do a 331 with high compression and forged internals. Make it scream!
