Default Best Cleveland Intake/Carb combo??

OK, all you Cleveland experts, I'd appreciate knowing the BEST Intake/Carb combo to put on my newly aquired 351C. Does anyone have any experience with the Parker Funnelweb intake and will it fit under the hood with a 650 DP on it?? Does anyone make a 2x4bbl intake for the Cleveland (other than a tunnel ram)?? Seem there's 2x4 intakes available for just about everything BUT the 351C. THANKS for all your venerable expertise and advice!!!

IT depends on how hot you are going to make the motor! If you are going 240 plus at 50 on the cam then Funnel web. If not Blue Thunder. Of course you didn't mention open chamber or closed, big valve or 'small'. As for whether or not it will fit, you will have to measure! As for the carb, fill out a spec sheet with Demon and purchase what they recommend. I don't recall a 2x4 non tunnel ram for the cleveland but either of these combos would probably out do it anyways.

Parker is real tall. Will not fit under reg. hood.
I have a blue thunder dual plane, it barely fits with no spacer.
I have Boss 4v closed and the BT is great.

Check your clearence! The Parker is tall, 6.78" compaired to say a performer at 4.3. But the parker will fit under my hood. Right now I have a performer (want one?), 1" four hole spacer, a flat bottomed air cleaner and two air filters stacked....... and it fits!
