Which kind of fuel pumps are you using?And do you have any problems with your fuel pumps?

Carb or EFI? I run a Mallory 140 gph for my carbed 351W. No problems to speak of 6 years

Carter mechanical pump. At least you will get a warning when it goes. When an electric pump craps out your screwed. With a carb you don't need a lot of fuel fuel pressure like an EFI system.

I am running the Holley Black. No problems so far. No return on my Holley 1050cfm. I can only hear it until the car starts.

I run the Mallory with a return line. Just have to get the Mallory return style regulator. For what it is worth, the Mallory is pretty quiet too.
