Smile Buying Weber Carbs

Hi, I'm looking for some council from those who have bought a Weber carb setup for their ride. It appears as if the product from various suppliers is very similar. The price difference, however, has a large range($$$). So it appears as if the tech supports and after-purchase connection to get them working makes it worthwhile OR am I wrong??? Is there anything I should look out for? This is ,after all, a big chunk of change but I want them. They represent the ultimate look for the top of a 306 engine. Thanks, in advance, for any suggestions. Jon

Tuning takes time, some money (jets), ideally a dyno with gas analyser is the way to go. I happen to have a brand new polished and chromed small block set-up ready to bolt on:

Really pretty setup Al has for sale, but...

You really want to purchase a set with all the carbs pointed in the same direction. The linkage will drive you crazy if you don't. You can get a set of reversing plates for Al's carbs from Inglese and build your own throttle linkage.
