Engine builder with Weber Expertise?
I'm looking to have a 351W built with a Weber setup. This would be for a customer, but also a project we are really looking forward to. I have a short list of preferred engine builders we work with, but I would like to expand that list some and find a builder that could put everything together for us with the Weber induction. Looking for an artist...
What says you?

Another shop with extensive experience especially with Weber-ized small blocks would be Cobra Automotive in Wallingford, CT. Excellent shop, reputation, history, and good people.

Cobra Automotive takes care of my webers on my 427 and the webers on my 289. They are the best around for weber tuning.

Jay, Why not go right to the Manufacturer (World Products) and have them build you one of their bullit proof Man O War small blocks with the two year warranty and then send it off to one of the Weber experts mentioned.

Yestrerday, when I visited, I meant to give you the name of the guy that built the 351W that in my car. (I believe he may be a "prefered builder" for the guys that finished up my car) My car has a quad, not injection, but just maybe he does Webers on Fords and he is local...
Are you looking for Weber carbs or injection?.....
Hope this helps..ox_ford_guy

I will take that into consideration. The hope was to find someone that could do the "whole package" and get everything to work together well, cam etc.
Ford Racing keeps inching their prices up, these other builders should be drooling...

Jay,
Have you talked to Dean Lampe about this? At the R@G he was telling me about a Weber whiz-bang guy that he seemed to have total confidence in, spoke very highly of the person....you might wanna give Dean a call.
If not there are two builders in my area that are beyond reproach, one of whom is especially gifted when it comes to carburation. If interested send me a PM.

I'm bumping this old thread to see if there are any new names to add. I'm in the NYC area and have a deposit on an ERA 289FIA. Would love to get a ~400hp small block street engine set-up with Webers that don't stumble at the 2,500 rpm range. I very much appreciate any suggestions. I have already talked to Cobra Automotive and will call Gessford next week.
Thanks!
Jeff
