I drove an SPF with a Roush 427W that was originaly a carb motor but had been replaced with a Hillborn (sp) injection system. I think the Carb motor 427's that I drove had more pull off the bottom than the injected motor. I think the cam profile on the injected motor might be different and this might be the reason that the injected motor did not feel as strong to me. Maybe you should consider a different cam if you go to injection?

Default TWM injection

Bernie, I am the TWM dealer on this site. I have had a 58mm setup on my Kirkham for 11,000 miles. It has been trouble free with great performance and the one time I checked mileage for laughs I was surprised with 12mpg. I was surprised because I have my foot buried in the rear injector most of the time. If I can help you out feel free to call me on my cell 520-401-9142. I will give you as good a deal as possible. Thanks, Al

you have another option, which might be cheaper, depends on whether you have access to actual weber carbs, actual weber carbs that maybe need a rebuild and can be had cheaply.

you can buy two of these adapters, which mount under weber carbs, and allow you to use the webers as throttle bodies, with the injectors mounted in the adapters. the adapters sell for 250usd for 4, plus you'd need the 4 webers, 8 injectors...but basically you'd be running an actual weber setup, just with efi control.

can be bought from here... http://stores.ebay.com/CONVERSION-COMPONENTS

Default 351W to 427

I just had an engine build by Performance engineering in Ross, OH. I went with a stroked 351 with a TWM fuel injection system. It produced 539HP @ the flywheel. It looks great. I went with this setup up for better fuel economy and driveablility. Let me know if I can provide any specific information.
