Best Custom Header Fabricator?
After installing Keith Craft 331 in my ERA/FIA, it became apparent that the original exhaust is restrictive. I would like to send the ERA headers to a fabricator, and have the geometry of this setup duplicated, however with 1-3/4" primary tubes.
Can anyone recommend a high end shop that would be capable of doing this?
Thanks!
Lindy

Rick Parker of this site has one of the best looking sets of custom made headers I have seen. You might want to send him an email.

Lindy,
I could not be more pleased w/ the quality of my headers that I had built. They were built by Doug @ Raptor Racing in Fresno, Ca (559) 486-0689.
Doug is first class as is his work. Check my gallery.

And if you want top of the food chain in the exhaust fabrication world, talk to Chris at SPD in Rancho Cordova, CA . They are excellent. http://www.spdexhaust.com/
Good luck, John

Boyd of Sanderson Headers in South San Francisco made a beautiful set of custom headers and exhaust for me. I would highly recommend him/them.

Thank you for the info.
I called each company mentioned, and will update those interested with pics as well as dyno results vs. the current system.

Keith Craft's Plano TX shop has an excellent fabricator that does 2" primaries, a custom collector into the sidepipes. Does excellent work for $1100 plus shipping, including muffler and powdercoating. Check Jim Woodward's gallery for good pics of this setup. Jim picked up 54 RWHP from doing this and changing to a less restrictive "muffler".
Yes, I have sidepipe envy....
