Default 408 cubic inch Cleveland

Does anyone have the data from a dyno session that I could use to build the power curves of this engine, or an image of the same.

I need the power curves so I can overlay the gear ratios from a selection of boxes and estimate the response of engine/tranny combo. Acceleration, time in gear, distance covered in a gear etc etc

Used to do this when I was selecting gear ratios to match my racebike to a track.

TIA

Doug,

I think Southern Automotive builds 408C and rate HP at 500ish. They should be able to help with their vast experience building these plants.

Best of luck,
Jeff

He's out in the Seattle area and he's one of the foremost builders of 351 Clevelands in the country. If he can't help you then no one can.
Good luck.

This forum is exclusively Cleveland info. Good guys
and a wealth of info for you. Check with Mark
McKowen who is a premier Cleveland engine builder
who hangs out there. He builds 408's among other
combos and has an excellent rep. He will have your
dyno #'s and much more.
