Expansion tank from Finish Line
Does anyone know what the hose barb on the 351w expansion tank from finish line hooks up to? (the one next to the radiator hose) I understand the one on the filler neck goes to the overflow tank, but where does the other one hook up to?
Thanks for your help.

I think you have a small hose fitting on the top of some radiators to hook that to. I think it is to help burp the system of trapped air due to height funky angle etc of radiator.

I welded a fitting on the top right tank of my radiator for the line to connect to. Lets the air vent into the tank.

Here's a link to an old CC thread that answers your question.
Harrison tank connections
Hope it helps.

OOPS... just noticed you are using the 351 style...
Consider the link above just some FYI/light reading...

I tried one of the Finishline tanks and it wouldn't work. The older tanks had the outlet angled down. On the new tanks, it points straight out and it hit my hood. I talked to Enzo about this and he said they were going to quit carrying them because of all the problems they've been having with them.

I just exchanged emails with Enzo on this point. Like Jim, I also need the Finishline version with the radiator fitting angling down. Enzo said he'd contact the vendor to see if he could get the earlier, angled version.
