Default single plane low rise intakes?

I want to install a single plane intake.

Which one of the following intakes can be recommended the most?

Edelbrock Torker289

Edelbrock TorkerII

Weiand X-Celerator

I know the general benefits of dual plane intakes for street use. But the camshaft and heads I use are for making power in the upper RPM range and also produce more torque in fist gear with a dual plane than the car can put on the ground.

Thanks,

Simon

I had a sedate 289 in a Mustang. It had stock heads, mild cam and headers. I ran it with both a dual plane intake and a Torker 289 - I honestly liked the torker on the street much better...

I have used the Torker 289 on a K code and loved it. Far better than the old style high riser, dual plane.

Thanks for the input! I followed your advice and bought a Torker 289 this week on ebay. Can't wait for the first test drive
