Default Switching to Roller Rockers

I am switching to roller rockers this week but from the looks of them they may not fit under my valve covers.. Any suggestions on dealing with that? Are there risers that can be bought so I can keep my VC's or suggested VCs?

What I did was go to Felpro and they make a laminated extra thick valve cover gasket that gave me plenty of room for my roller rockers and no leaks. I guess it would depend on just how tall your covers are to start with. I had the normal finned Cobra type. Also check that the baffles inside the valve covers aren't going to be a problem. And I do believe that you can get a 1/2 inch space from Cobra Restorers now to add under the valve covers, but you have to watch to see that it doesn't cause a hood clearance problem.

What type of valve covers do you have? I have a pair of Buddy Bar cast aluminum on mine with CompCams Pro Magnum roller rockers. I had to remove the baffle inside the valve cover and purchased aluminum tubes with baffles for the air filters. I use Moroso steel core valve cover gaskets with out any clearance problems.

I got some aluminum spacers to allow the roller rockers to fit under the stock style valve covers.

or you could get those oloff FE-to-windsor valve cover spacers and be able to use FE valve covers where i swear you could lay a redbull can ontop of your valve train (sideways of course --) and have it not touch the valve covers.

I did have a pair of Ford Performance covers that fit perfectly at 3.75 inches deep. I want to use my finned COBRA ones at some point though but they are only 3 inches deep. I guess spacers are in my future.
