Hey maybe Ron, Jamo and Brent and reconfigure the site so that we can get Cobra Forum "tweets"?

I`ll try to go back to the original thread with an UPDATE:
7 months and 2 days after downpayment the motor really arrived on September 7th!
Solid crate, everything seemed to be allright. Some loose bolts, but no real problems.
But where is the flywheel???
Flywheel was ordered and paid for and part of the quotation in february.
Again, e-mails and phonecalls with no one answering. When I finally reached someone, he promised to sent it immediatly. T&L seem to have their own definition of immediatly, there is no flywheel in sight as of today, Sept. 28th
Do yourself a favor an STAY AWAY FROM T&L

Update:
no Flywheel in sight!
When I reached Rob, the T&L fairyteller who seems to be the only one able to use a phone, he told me it was on its way. That was around Sept. 30th.
I reached him again on Oct. 7th, now he tells me that USPS had sent back the flywheel because it was not packed correctly or something like that. It will leave tomorrow and he will mail me the tracking number! Guess what! Correct!
Now I just talked to him 10 minutes ago, Oct.14th:
I want my tracking number!
Hold on please!
After 5 minutes: hello, where are you holding on for?
MY TRACKING NUMBER
Hold on please!
After 3 more minutes I call him from another phone, he answers immediatly!
Are You kidding me? Where is my tracking number????
Silence!
Silence until I hang up after telling him what I think of T&L!
I can recommend T&L to anyone trying to go insane and has not made it yet!

OK, here is mine;
Read the threads both here and others and also talked to owners, in person, about the T&L engines. Almost to a person they said the engines were good but the wait was longer than normal or promised.
With that mind I ordered the 347 with webers. Taking into account the stories I ordered the motor giving T&L 16 weeks, double the build time promised. Even with that I could go longer.

Many calls, most unreturned unless they happen to answer the phone, I finally got my motor, 8 months from the order date. The main reason my car is not done yet.

To expidite I contacted an attorney and got a qoute of what it would cost to handle the problem. I forwarded the qoute to them and said this was my next step. Seemed to get action.

That being said the engine finnally arrived, crated great, and looked good. 2 weeks ago I started it. After turning the crank and the primming the pump it started and sounded great.

The moral of the story if you have the time to screw with them the price is great. Plan ahead by at 8 months, lots of calls. Be aware the southern policy does not alllow them to get angry, so they just promise.

No drive time yet. If you want to Pm about further info I'll will respond.

At some point the bubble busts... deposits today are building engines today. When the deposits stop the whole cycle crumbles. Read up on Unique Performance and multiply by 50.

He would have been better off having Jasmin build his engine.

Lightbulb Update

It would seem that the boys at T&L have called it a day. Several websites reporting they're out of business, shop locked down, etc.

Oh, well.
