No nothing like that . I just want to find the best person to wrench on it (and possibly teach me) for valve adjustments and little things like that.
Actually, I was driving it all day today (it arrived last night) on the Merritt Parkway and had a total blast. The engine is really amazing. I cant wait to get out and drive again tomorrow! SO MUCH FUN!

ROUSH. The best crate engine out there. -- if you are looking local , go to a local hot-rod club meeting and interview the local shops.

For racing or street?
lloyds1 What's up with the nascar motor?? Rousch would be the one to buy ONLY because of the warranty. Keith Craft builds a more powerful motor that is durable for street and SOME track time. I don't know if your car is setup for track or not. There is a BIG differents between the 2.
Street car can work just fine with out ducts, oil collers, roll cages, race seats. Track car, coolers for the whole drive train, different tires, suspension, alignment. getting rid or extra wieght.
The other question is WHAT are you looking to do with the car?? This dicates what motor and how much power you want to run. A 393-396" stroker is a great motor for all round to run. Limit the rpms to 6,500. You looking for more than this, you better talk to the 2 companies listed above. Rousch is had to deal with if ABUSE if found, rod sticking out of a block, pushrod out the bottom of an oil pan, things like this. Keith Craft may be a little more understanding but has 30+ years of motor building and has seen it all. He will work with you as long as the BS doesn't get stupid. Rick L.

Joe Lapine in Danbury, CT is a great engine builder but not sure how much help he could be with your Roush motor. Worth an inquiry though. You could also give Peter at ERA a call and see if he has any recommendations.
