Great idea
I've been meaning to set something up like that. Sounds great, but I'm also out this weekend.
Let's keep trying, though.

Sounds good. Bad timing this weekend, but we'll pull something together soon. Maybe try again next weekend.

Michaelj. What's your ride, what city you out of? My Cobra's out of play right now, but hope to have it running again this weekend. Looks like wet weather this weekend! Looking forward to a cruise soon!

If you guys are going Sat morning, mind if I tag along?
I know the weatherman says rain but he's been wrong lately.
I can dream, you know.

Rodneym. Let's get out this weekend. My Cobra is out of commision right now with a broken inner valve spring and damaged valve stem seal. I'm waiting for parts to come. I've got other wheels. If you want to plan Cars & Coffee, let's talk. I'll meet you down there. If C&C gets rained out, maybe some other destination during the weekend. If not this weekend...next weekend. I'll send you a PM with contact info.

FWIW, my son's high school moved a baseball pre-season double-header from tomorrow (Saturday) to this afternoon just to get the games in before the deluge. Tonight and tomorrow a.m. would be better served in a canoe than a cobra.
MichaelJ, you also in YL? I think I saw you bombing around town a couple weeks ago.
Dane, you get your new pipes on yet? I saw you at Home Cheapo a couple months back and it looks like you got your new hood on. Looked good.
It's looking like Sunday only seat time at the moment (of course, I'm looking at sunshine out my office window in Santa Ana as I write this).

Hey guys,
My name is David; I live in Corona del Mar and work next to John Wayne Airport. I got my plates on Monday(!); it's an FFR in gel-coat. It looks like a rat rod right now but I'm digging every minute of it!!
It's supposed to rain heavily this weekend but I'd like to join y'all next week for C&C or whatever!

I'm in Long Beach, would not mind a cruise/get together/meal, assuming you'd lower your standards......

Sunday is the Million Dollar Breakfast Cruise - Enderle Center - in Tustin. It's a morning cruise, later in the morning than C&C. See www.socalcarculture.com for the flyer. This is an easy event that lasts until 11:00 AM. The weather forecast suggests sunny Sunday. Pending a positive weather outlook, let's plan to meet at 8:00 or 9:00 AM at the Million Dollar Breakfast Cruise. My Cobra is out of commision right now, but will bring Sunbeam Tiger. Red with black soft top. there is a joint that serves coffee and breakfast fare. 9:00 AM is better for me, but flexible! Any takers!

Shoot, Jim, I just might take you up on that. It's also a shorter distance for me to get to Tustin than to C&C.
I'm more apt to get there earlier (the 7am start) and head out about 9am or so. I have a lot of yard work to catch up on!
If the roads are still wet that early, then I'll probably be closer to 9-10am. Let's see how this afternoon shapes up (raining hard as I type this)!
