The "bump" is bad for quite a few cars. Many avoid it by entering from the exit side of the driveway (no bump).
And the sound police were out in force, more than ever. Most everyone that motored out of there (including myself) kept the revs really low...we all sounded like kittens leaving the place. Much different than it use to was.

The variety this week was over-the-top (as usual). A Bugatti Veyron, a WWII "belly tank" Bonneville racer, a virtual sea of GTs (SPF, CAV and quite a handful of the newer Ford GTs), 5-6 Lambos, at least 8 Vipers, etc., etc. We're blessed to be in sunny So Cal and to see many rare cars quite regularly. Anyone that goes to one of the previous links can rifle through the multiple pages of cars. Visitors to So Cal should put this as one of their destinations. I fielded a few questions yesterday from a guy from Denmark and another from New Zealand.

Dean,
Sounds like you had a great turn out and a lot of fun.
I found this link through Jalopnik with pics of several Cobras (and a bunch of other great cars) that were at the event yesterday.

That car was nicely done. It was an ERA (per the SB-100 tag on the cowl), but had a Shelby plate riveted to the dashboard. We all stared at it for at least 5 minutes.

So true... on any given weekend, all you have to do is cruise Sunset Blvd for endless viewing of Ferraris, Lambos & Astons.
Can make the same argument for Main Street in Huntington on the weekends, tho the vehicle type(s) are a bit different.
