Default Cobra Cruise Saturday, January 17!

SoCal Cobra Cruise, this weekend! Meet at the McDonalds Restaurant, 1540 2nd Street, (corner of 2nd and Colorado) in Santa Monica, 11:00 AM. Cruise up PCH, thru/into Malibu, then right up Kanan Dume Road for a few miles, then a right turn on Mulholland HWY. A Photo Opportunity with the snow-covered mountains as a backdrop, then continue on Mulholland, past the world-famous Rock Store, around Malibu Lake, then (parking permitting) lunch at the Rock Store or around the corner at Silver Springs Cafe. Hope to see you there!

Default Edley...

Happy New Year!! Hope all is well.

Good to see you are still playing the role of cruise organizer. This sounds like a great route.

Unfortunately, I cannot attend - but I am sure you will get a good turn out.

Have fun!

About 2 1/2 months till I am on the road....

Hi Edley,

I will be there for sure. Sorry I did not respond to your last post. I am unfamiliar with Santa Barbara and I was trying to think of somewhere reasonable on PCH but there's always a long wait to get seated. Here's a pix from 01/04 at the view point you have in mind for the photo op. Since I did not use the backlit mode, I blew this photo but I'm sure there are better photographers in the club. The Rock Store was impossible to park that day, so if it is like that we'll go to the Silver Springs Cafe.

Looking forward to meeting you and the rest of the SoCal members.

Shin
